WHAT DO WE DO?
Drawing on the structure of traditional folk tales, Zoie and Eleanor work together to make deeper connections with the psyche of their audience as they perform at festivals, theatres and found spaces all over the country and abroad. Each story is entirely improvised and unique to the particular place and group, who are invited to offer themes, suggestions and issues they would like unveiling. The site and group specific nature of their work leads to new openings and discoveries at every turn... you never know where you will be lead.
WHY?
Story is powerful.
Within the safe space of story we question, test, celebrate and express all sides of our being.
It can be a vital space to confront darkness, sorrow and loss and transform our understanding of these things.
It can be a space to be wild and silly, irreverent and free.
It is a space to leap and fall, hold and be held and revel in the interconnectedness of our experiences.
It can be whatever we need it to be, and therein lies the transformation.
